Today, i read the entirety of Degrees of Freedom, the third book about Samuil Petrovich by Dr. Simon Morden.
The whole series is fan-bloody-tastic. Read them, if you like Philip K Dick, William Gibson, swearing in russian, near-future sci-fi, post-apocalyptic survival and triumph, debating the ensoulment of artificial intelligences, samurais versus soviets, discovering a grand unified theory, inventing anti gravity devices and using them as black-hole bombs, and games of nuclear chicken.
That sort of thing.
